Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Pharmacy Digital, operated by YEG Digital ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information. It applies to our marketing site, the Pharmacy Digital application, and the accounts of pharmacies, banners, and partners who use the platform. It does not directly apply to the personal information collected by an individual pharmacy through its own published site; Section 6 explains that distinction.
1. Information we collect
When you create an account or use the platform, we collect:
- Account information: your name, email address, phone number, and password.
- Business information: the pharmacy's name, address, phone number, hours, and any other details you enter into your site's settings.
- Content you create: page and blog content, images and other media you upload, team member profiles, and any other material you add to your site.
- Billing information: subscription and payment status. Your card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe; we receive confirmation of payment, not your full card number.
- Communications: support requests, feature suggestions, comments, and any other messages you send us or enter through the platform.
- Technical information: standard log and usage data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically when you use the platform.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the platform, including building and hosting your site;
- Process payments and manage subscriptions;
- Send account-related email, such as invitations, sign-in confirmations, and billing receipts;
- Respond to support requests and feedback;
- Monitor, secure, and improve the platform;
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. How we share information
We share information with the service providers we rely on to operate the platform, each acting on our behalf and under obligations to protect the information they process:
- Stripe, for payment processing and billing;
- Mailgun, for sending transactional email such as invites and notifications;
- Our application hosting and database providers, for running the platform and storing your data;
- Our domain name service provider, for routing your site's traffic.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Pharmacy Digital, our users, or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will take reasonable steps to ensure the information continues to be protected.
4. Cookies and sessions
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to verify who you are when you access account features. This cookie is required for the platform to function and is not used for advertising. If you choose to connect Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or add custom scripts to your own site, those tools may set their own cookies on your site's visitors; that is governed by your own configuration and by those providers' policies, not by us.
5. Data retention
We retain your account and site information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription or close your account, we retain the underlying data for a limited period afterward in case you wish to reactivate, after which it is deleted or anonymized, except where we are required to keep certain records for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
6. Data collected through your own site
Your published site can include a contact form, a lead capture form, and a newsletter signup that collect information directly from your own site's visitors, such as their name, email, phone number, and any message they submit. That information belongs to you as the pharmacy operating the site, and you are responsible for how you use it and for complying with any privacy obligations that apply to your own business and your relationship with your patients or customers. Pharmacy Digital stores that information on your behalf, as your service provider, so it can be delivered to your leads inbox, but we do not use it for our own purposes and it is not covered by the rest of this policy as information we control.
If you are a visitor to a site built on Pharmacy Digital and have questions about how your information was used, please contact that pharmacy directly.
7. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we handle, including encrypted connections between your browser and our servers, and access controls that restrict who within the platform can see your account, banner, or site data based on their role. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
You can access and update most of your account and business information directly from your dashboard. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to our legitimate business needs and legal obligations. If you are located outside Canada, you may have additional rights under the law of your own jurisdiction; we will make reasonable efforts to honor requests consistent with those rights.
9. International data transfers
Pharmacy Digital is operated from Canada, and some of the infrastructure providers we rely on to host and deliver the platform may process or store data outside Canada, including in the United States. Where this occurs, that information is subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is processed.
10. Children's privacy
The platform is intended for business use by pharmacies and their staff and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders directly.
12. Contact
